Musee Mecanique
The old-fashioned penny arcade known ad The Musée Mécanique, is worth a stop on your way through the Pier39/Fisherman’s Wharf area. It’s not very big but its stuffed with antique arcade games much like the one pictured here. It may only take 20 minutes to see it but you’ll remember it forever.
Aquarium Of The Bay is a small aquarium located close to Pier 39. The Aquarium is good for rainy days or small children. I've never paid so I don't know if its worth it but the staff are very nice and know what there doing.

The Mission
The Mission District is a must see. It’s well known by locals that the Haight is a tourist trap as all the hippies died years ago. If you’re looking for a city alive with youth, music, food and artist then you must visit the Mission District. Anywhere between 16th and Mission to Valencia and 24th will be time well spent. Start at 16th and Valencia at 8PM and I guarantee it will be the club. Mission Street can become unsafe after dark and where Valencia gives the perception of being a little more under control; when your on Mission and 24th at 8PM you know your about eight blocks out too far.
The San Francisco Cable Cars are the oldest running cable car system in the world and definitely on the top of the list for all who visit the city. Personally I don’t get much from the Cable Car Museum pictured above but why not stop in for five minutes.

Haight Ashbury
The Summer of Love was nearly 1/2 a century ago. What you fantasize this street to be has long been dead. What you will see here, or rather smell, are the countless trust fund kids who have chosen to be crack heads. When it comes to shopping you'll find the same stores found in your local mall in the USA.
Lands End Labyrinth
The Lands End Trail is the best park in San Francisco to experience nature and get away from the crowds. As most places along the ocean it's always cold so bring a warm jacket and enjoy amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge and more. The labyrinth in this picture is hard to get to but the hike is worth it because the views are amazing. 99.9% of all those who visit don't even know it exists. You can hike to where the people in this picture are in about an hour or stroll to where this picture was taken in five minutes.
