Day 1
Ready to depart San Francisco at 3:00 pm. We quickly realized that we had too many bags. Justin had five.
We have a great Wingz driver from Sacramento, Leo, however, he was 30 minutes late. He was a little funny but safe and his big red Cadillac Escalade was very nice.
We arrived at Oakland International Airport early but our South West Plane was one hour late. Beer at Pyramid. Waiting for our plane to arrive at gate 25.

Text from SWA to move to gate 4 for the flight to LAX. 7:00pm On the SW plane in our OWN row. Starving. We haven't eaten for hours! 1 small bag of SW Peanuts & Coke for dinner at 7:30 in the air over Bakersfield.

Day2
Breakfast at the motel and Dried hotel eggs for breakfast. Conveyer belt pancake maker. On the hotel shuttle meet two people from Sacramento that flew in from Oakland and are going to QTR and Tanzania too.
Air Canada Lounge w/ beer. Quiet.
The bed has full massage with Glenfiddich 15! That would come later. We all started with Krug Grande Cuvee. The quality of food was excellent and the cabin crew very professional. Never was anything but a pleasure for them and they were always very quick to respond.

was great. Comfortable, flat and wide. I actually put the Qatar Pajamas on to sleep. Meals were fantastic and by request only - so no big meal production with a bunch of noise. And finally the Krug was outstanding. The in Doha business class lounge rivals a Four Seasons or St. Regis for comfort.

Day 6 6am breakfast Hippos 2 - Elephants from our bed. Dinner on the private deck. The most beautiful romantic setting ever.

Day 14 Early morning wake up call from the birds. Our last Africa breakfast Flight to Zanzibar Asking every plane that lands Split up Over Africa High clouds Zanzibar Mohammad our Zanzibar driver. Crazy driving across the island.
